The Indian National Anthem is free mp3 download available as a karaoke track on the internet. It is one of India's most popular patriotic songs, and it has been sung by many people over the years. The Indian National Anthem was composed by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore in 1911 and adopted on January 26, 1950 following its first broadcast. The song is written in the "raag" known as Agradooti with a "thumri" or "boli" tempo pattern of two beats per bar of music where at least one accent falls on each beat; which gives it an common time signature of 4/4. It has also been recorded by many Indian musicians over the years. According to information obtained from record companies, there are at least 200,000 versions of the national anthem available on CD alone. There are thousands of websites that offer these versions as mp3 downloads for a very low price. There are also numerous audio CDs available that are sold across the country. Almost all versions of this patriotic song are written in Bengali, Hindi and English, but most versions are in Bengali, because most people of Bengal are native speakers. A few versions are sung in several languages too. It is sung at every national event. It was sung for the inauguration of Vijay Stakes 2016 which was held at Kolkata turf course on February 28, 2016. According to information received from different records companies it has been estimated that nearly thirty million copies have been sold, at least copies have been done on pirated CD format now they have become very common across the country. On July 8, 2015, the 70th birthday of eminent music director Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, a CD album 'Nabajanshi' composed by him was released featuring the song 'Indira Ke Saath' rendered by him and Mrs. Luv Sinha. The song has been sung by prominent singers including: Mohammad Azizuddin, Naresh Kumar Dasgupta and others.Indira Ke Saath" literally translates to 'Victory to Mother Indira'.
