Rock Star 2001 Ita Torrent Rockstar, a film set to be released in 2001 and directed by Paul Haggis, was put online after it was leaked onto torrent sites. The film was never released and this is the only way we will be able to see the movie. Rockstar is an R-rated feature that takes place in a Southern town during the height of hurricane season. It follows three high school friends who are trying to escape their lives through rock 'n' roll - despite being outcasts with no musical talent whatsoever. They are joined by two girls from Europe who have come to America on vacation but now must survive Hurricane Katrina's aftermath by joining them on tour as their backup band.
